Advice for Entrepreneurs

It All Starts with an Idea

You do not need to invent the next big brand to become a successful entrepreneur - a new angle on an existing idea can be enough. The important thing is that you believe in your work. Think about why you want to be an entrepreneur. Do you want to try to start something yourself, do you want economic independence, or do you have other reasons why you want to start your business?

Family and Risk

Talk to your family about your idea. Starting a business takes a lot of time, and it is important that you have your family’s support. Think about whether your private finances are healthy enough to start a business – profit does not always come on day one!   Business Fundamentals When you plan to turn your idea into a business, there are questions you need to think about:

  1. Who are your customers?
  2. How do you create value for your customers?
  3. Would you buy your own product?

Alone or With Others?

It can be easier to start a business with a partner or partners. Collaborating with others brings different skill sets and perspectives. If you choose to start a business with others, remember to align your expectations on how you see the company developing.   If you start a business alone, consider which areas of the business you can outsource. Focus on your passions and skill sets.
